Kazimierz Duda C.K.M. Band of Brothers CHRONICLES DOCUMENTS

The list of assignments by speciality shows that the detachment was well provided for on the technical and economic side.

The squadron was an autonomous detachment. It had a large economic organisation, equal to a battalion, which made work in the units somewhat difficult.

There were rumours that this organisation would not survive in this form permanently and that probably as time went on the British would 'add something else'. There is speculation that we might get an anti-tank gun, a platoon or an extra mortar platoon. Of course, these are rumours that are not supported by anything, coming from people who have the ambition to make it a great and excellent unit.
