Kazimierz Duda C.K.M. Band of Brothers CHRONICLES DOCUMENTS

Cavalry Captain Marian Kochanowski1 (later Major) was unable to stand up and force commanders to use his unit properly.
The discontent was immense, especially among the platoon leaders who sent a report to the brigade commanders. Despite these complaints, nothing changed in the tactical usage and the platoons continued to play the role of 'little niggers'.
The C.K.M. Independent Squadron Command moved permanently with the Brigade Command because it could not go preferentially with a battalion, as there was a platoon in each battalion.
This is why the C.K.M. Squadron command, far from its platoons, could not make up its mind about the use of its troops, about the service they rendered in the field.
So much for the use of the squadron and its command, as observed by a member of the squadron command.
