Kazimierz Duda C.K.M. Band of Brothers CHRONICLES DOCUMENTS

There have been cases where a driver has been injured and there is no one to replace him.
It was the same in the other detachments. The directives of the 3rd Brigade Headquarters required that our men receive military training and that new drivers be trained. A driving course was organised for the division in Lijndonk, not far from Breda. In addition to this our detachment started internal training.
On 16 January the squadron started the heavy machine gun training. The courses were given by Cavalry Captain Duda and other platoon commanders and NCOs who were familiar with the weapons and could serve as instructors.
This training lasted 6 weeks and resulted in well-trained personnel. The 3rd Infantry Brigade Command also organised the training of 'observer estafettes'. Cavalry Captain Duda was in charge of this training.
