The Commander-in-Chief1 after the first period of fighting of the 1st Armoured Division issued an order to the soldiers of the 1st Division, which I enclose. It was a pleasure to receive our good wishes from the Soldiers' Home at Edingurgh, where our soldiers often stayed owing to the proximity of the posting.
