CKM Squadron
Squadron formation: command and escort + 3 platoons. Each platoon is divided into two squads in a platoon: 4 heavy machine guns - 8 trucks .
The escort consists of truck squadron commander of 0.75 administrative vehicle, 2 + 3 ton trucks for personal baggage and food. Effective : there are two officers , namely the squadron commander and deputy commander + 21 soldiers.
Each platoon has 28 soldiers + officer .
Squadron formation: 5 officers + 105 soldiers. First enlargement : 9 soldiers.
The Heavy Machine Gun Squadron was the first within the battalion to be fully equipped and from the start it followed the expected training.
It was formed from the former 3rd Squadron of Support Weapons Battalion of the 1st Reconnaissance Regiment1 and the men who remained are the best and safest. It was partially completed by by personnel from the second squadron staff2, also very good soldiers. On the other hand those who arrived from the first squadron3 proved to be rather poor, as did those from the command squadron.
