I. Period of training in the squadron
Even before leaving Dalkhert1 the squadron was given a full complement of equipment, i.e. 25 carriers - Ford2and 6 motorbikes. From the very beginning a diligent work was visible.
CKM's were given to the squadron as soon as they arrived in Immerliethen (Peebles Shire), borrowed for the time being from one of the infantry battalions.
There were a few riflemen in the squadron, but these had not had anything to do with this weapon for a long time.
The personnel of the CKM squadron, apart from the officers, was as follows:
1st Squadron chief sergeant Raganowicz Michal
2nd platoon sergeant I. sergeant Boryna Józef
3. assistant platoon sergeant II. sergeant Jarmulski Jan.
4. assistant platoon sergeant III. sergeant Biegajski Stefan.
The squad leaders were also first-rate NCOs and instructors, who had passed through good English schools, as well as pre-war Polish ones.
To them belonged platoon leader Żuchowski Stanisław (in January 1944 promoted to sergeant) platoon leader Janiak, platoon leader Wójcik and others.
